An Eco-Friendly Choice

The concept of sustainable living is becoming increasingly important to consumers. Prefabricated steel homes are inherently more eco-friendly than traditional site-built housing.

Lower energy and water bills

Green features such as low-energy lightbulbs and innovative water and insulation solutions help reduce energy consumption and reduce costs for homeowners. Each Modern Family House uses energy efficient lighting and appliances and a smart heating and air conditioning control system that greatly reduces power usage. Each one also uses a high power solar panel that provides more than one hundred percent of power needed.

Main Body

The main structure is built using 150 g/m2 zinc coating and Q550 steel plating. The zinc coating ensures long-term anti-corrosion while the steel plating ensures that the structure stays in place. Housing exterior walls, roof, and floors use varying thicknesses of steel plating for optimal safety. It’s moisture resistant and has no joints, no gaps, and no cracks.

Roof

The roof is covered with asphalt shingles, which are noise insulating, durable, double-layer waterproof, and fade-resistant. They are also convenient to replace if needed.

Floor

Floors are comprised of a 40cm base, soundproof cotton, and a cement layer. Finally, tile or wooden floor can be laid on top.

Material

Housewrap

Tightly wrapped around the structure, housewrap makes the building both waterproof and breathable.

Glass Wool

Made from fiberglass, glass wool insulates the home while protecting against bacteria and mildew. It is long-lasting and corrosion-resistant to provide a continuously healthy living environment.

Extruded Polystyrene (EPS) Insulation

EPS insulation keeps out water, moisture and air, while remaining resistant to corrosion, high pressure, and aging. Its lightweight, long life, low thermal conductivity, and energy conservation properties make it an ideal building material
